The Atlantic and Gulf Intracranial Waterway:

The Intracostal waterway is a 3,000 mile, 12′ planned (7′ – 9′ actual) by 100′, inland route beginning at New Jersey going  to Brownsville, Texas. Its three sections are: AICW Portsmouth, VA to (mile 0) to Key West, GICW Fort Myers, FL to Tarpon Springs, FL and Carrabelle, FL to Brownsville, TX. Except for a 140-mile stretch, Anclote River to Carrabell FL it is a protected inside route.
